Miles Nazaire has apologised after coming under fire for sharing a bizarre now-deleted video comparing women’s periods to the suffering that men face.
The ex-Made In Chelsea star, 30, shared the video this week that began with ‘men don’t get periods but…’ and then a list of non gender specific issues he deals with.
Miles said ‘men bleed responsibility every day,’ but critics have pointed out women suffer the same problems, along with the complications of their menstrual cycle.
Many have suggested that while men’s mental health is an incredibly important topic to discuss and advocate for, they struggled to see the need to bring periods into it.
The hot take has landed horribly online as some said he approached the topic with the ‘wrong angle’ and suggested he ‘stop making the narrative a competition’.
Addressing the criticism he received for, Miles said on Instagram: ‘Okay, I’m gonna say this once because I don’t want it to become this massive thing.

‘I’ve deleted the video I posted. I was going in with a different sentiment. I was not doing a comparison to women and men and people saying blaming. I was not blaming anyone.’
Miles went on to reveal he was going to have another stab at articulating his thoughts, without using women’s health as a point of comparison.
He continued: ‘So I’ve taken it out. I’m gonna repost it with a different version because I actually wanted to, this is a sentiment that I want to put out there and talk about…
‘Especially for all the men that are following me and all that kind of stuff. I apologise if I’ve offended anyone.’
He went on: ‘It was never the reason why I put it out there. It was all the rest. It was not a comparison at all. But yeah, I’m just gonna leave it there.
‘I do apologise if anyone was offended by that, but it was never my intention to do that. So yeah.’
In the clip, Miles reflected on turning up when he felt like he was ‘dying inside’, which was picked up by people who said they felt like that while also having their period.

Miles words sparked furious backlash online from critics who argued that they were ‘two different conversations’ to be had
One of the fans that slammed him on TikTok said: ‘Miles from Made in Chelsea has posted an Instagram reel and it has not gone down very well.’
She explained what he said, adding that while it is a good thing to talk about men’s mental health, ‘the angle at which he has approached this is not the right angle at all and it’s caused a lot of backlash’.
She went on: ‘He is saying that ‘oh well women have periods, that’s the horrible stuff they have to deal with but men actually have to deal with all of this stuff as well’ which is obviously not a realistic portrayal of what life is like.
‘He has since taken down the Instagram reel and he’s posted on his story a kind of like through gritted teeth apology.’
She then said that ‘he is comparing a woman’s period to a man’s difficulties in life or like traumas in life’ and she thinks what people need to ‘stop making the narrative a competition’. She added that Miles ‘missed the mark’ with his controversial post.
