Amazon’s popular discount event has usually gone live in July.

WASHINGTON — Amazon has officially announced when Prime Day will be this year, arriving earlier than usual.

The popular discount event has traditionally been a two-day sale in recent years, but for 2026 the retailer says Prime members will have four days to shop.

Prime Day 2026 will kick off on June 23 at 12:01 a.m. PDT through June 26.

“Prime Day is the biggest shopping event of the year exclusively for members, whether they’re looking for deals on the latest electronics, getting ahead on back-to-school shopping, or saving on fresh groceries and household essentials,” Jamil Ghani, vice president of Amazon Prime, said in a news release. “This year, we’ve made it even easier for members to find what they’re looking for—and the excitement starts before day one, from scoring $5 pizzas at Little Caesars to early screenings of Spider-Man: Brand New Day in theaters.”

Prime Day typically takes place in July. The last time the online retailer had Prime Day in June was in 2021.

Walmart and Target tend to host their own respective sales events around Prime Day, with Target already announcing its Circle Deal Days around the same timeframe.

Amazon also announced the return of the Little Caesars pizza deal. Prime subscribers can enjoy a $5 classic large pepperoni or cheese pizza between June 15 and June 26. The deal can be redeemed up to five times on different days for a total saving of $30 depending on the location. The order must be placed at Amazon.com/LittleCaesars.
