President Donald Trump said Monday he believes an end to the Russia-Ukraine war is close.

“I think we’re getting much closer than people realize. And President Putin wants it to end, I will tell you that very strongly,” Trump said while talking to press at the White House. He added that Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also wants to end the war “now.”
