Tim Curry passed away at 80-years-old on Tuesday night leading many to wonder about his romantic life because the acting legend was notoriously private.

As the Rocky Horror Picture Show star never had any public relationships and never discussed his sexuality amid speculation that he was gay due to the flamboyant characters he portrayed on screen, there was a lot of speculation regarding his dating life.

However, 10 months ago the talented thespian shut down any further rumors with a cutting 8-word response when asked about his personal life.

Curry told The New Yorker in October of last year: ‘My romantic life is none of anybody’s business.’

The Home Alone 2: Lost In New York star released the book Vagabond: A Memoir last year and once again drew the line at his romantic life as he was up front that he would not be discussing his love affairs.

Curry is also an icon in the LGBTQ+ community due to his groundbreaking role as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in the aforementioned cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Though he did not touch on his sexuality or romantic life, he did describe the role as ‘liberating.’

He told The Guardian in October: ‘

Curry died at his home in Los Angeles last night, TMZ was first to report.

He had been suffering with serious health issues for more than a decade and no foul play is suspected.

Curry opened up about his wellbeing last year during a special screening marking The Rocky Horror Picture Show’s 50th anniversary.

Speaking to the audience at LA’s Academy Museum, he said: ‘I still can’t walk, which is why I’m in this silly chair, and that’s very limiting.

‘So, I won’t be singing and I won’t be dancing very soon. I still have real problems with my left leg.’
