As Stephen Colbert enters the final weeks of The Late Show, his late-night peers are coming together to give him a proper send-off.

Following their podcast run during the 2023 Hollywood strikes, the host will reunite with the Strike Force Five, featuring Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, John Oliver and Seth Meyers on the Monday, May 11 episode, airing at 11:35pm ET/PT on CBS.

The five late-night hosts previously started a podcast together during the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes in 2023, raising funds for their out-of-work writers while discussing the labor strife and the state of the industry at large.

Meanwhile, Colbert’s Late Show predecessor David Letterman will join him on the Thursday, May 14 episode, following his strong words for the network over the talk show’s cancellation.

“He was dumped because the people selling the network to Skydance said, ‘Oh no, there’s not going to be any trouble with that guy. We’re going to take care of the show. We’re just going to throw that into the deal. When will the ink on the check dry?’ I’m just going to go on record as saying: They’re lying,” Letterman told The New York Times this week. “Let me just add one other thing. They’re lying weasels.”

In addition to the Strike Force Five, the May 11 episode will feature a special Broadway performance from Annaleigh Ashford, Christopher Jackson, Bernadette Peters, Ben Platt and Patrick Wilson. The Strokes will perform on the May 14 episode.

After CBS announced last July that The Late Show is ending, the final episode will air Thursday, May 21 on the network, with Byron Allen’s Comics Unleashed taking over the 11:35pm time slot.
