Sherri Shepherd is bidding a “bittersweet” goodbye to her namesake syndicated talk show, which concluded its four-season run on Thursday.

“Family!!!! Thank you so much for all of the love and support over these last 4 years. It was a bittersweet end to a life I got to know so well. But here is to new beginnings…if you thought you were sick of me before just you wait. ,” she wrote on Instagram alongside a video that interspliced clips from her broadcast with her final exit from the empty set.

The video tribute concluded with the note: “Thank you. XO Sherri.”

It was announced in February that Sherri was canceled by Lionsgate Television’s Debmar-Mercury, though the producer-distributor indicated it is planning to explore continuing the show on a digital platform.

The show, which taped in New York City’s Chelsea Studios, was fronted by Shepherd, actor-comedian and former The View co-host, debuting on Fox stations in September 2022 as a replacement for The Wendy Williams Show, after its eponym exited her show amid health concerns.

Shepherd previously addressed the cancellation on air, saying she was “overwhelmed by the outpouring of love” she received after the news broke.

After giving her resounding thanks to her viewers, she added, “The intention of this show was always my prayer for you to leave happier than when you came. It has been my dream to have a talk show and I am so grateful I got the chance to do it for four seasons. I want to be clear, I’m not ready to throw in the towel on this show just yet. We’re going to be airing episodes all through the fall and we’re going to continue to fight to keep the show alive in some way, shape or form.”
