Scooter Braun and Sydney Sweeney were painfully close to coming face-to-face with his nemesis Taylor Swift when they attended game four of the NBA Finals on Wednesday night.

Fans on social media spotted the couple sitting awkwardly close to Swift, who had courtside seats next to Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star Mariska Hargitay.

‘why am i just noticing Sc**** Br*** behind her,’ one shocked user noted on X while sharing a screenshot from a video posted by Entertainment Tonight.

Braun, 44, had posted about how excited he was for the game ahead of time, though he likely didn’t plan to nearly run into Swift, 36, after he set off their yearslong feud by buying up the rights to her master recordings.

The drama in the first few rows was nearly as intense as on the court, where the New York Knicks made a comeback for the ages after they were down by 29 points to the San Antonio Spurs.

The Knicks ended up clinching game four by a razor-thin 107–106, giving the team a 3–1 lead.

Swift, who was accompanied on her other side by her friends and squad mates Este and Alana Haim, had some fun at the game by wearing a shirt reading ‘Stevie Knicks’ in the team’s blue-and-orange color scheme.

The screenshot of Braun and Sweeney behind her indicated that they were about seven rows back and just behind a metal railing separating the more cushioned seats from the folding courtside chairs, and several seats to the right of where Swift sat.

After the Knicks’ victory, Braun posted a video of himself, Sweeney and his family all screaming for joy

Earlier on Wednesday, Braun shared a photo of himself and four other men, including his father, as they prepared for the showdown between the Knicks and the Spurs.

‘Game 4 at THE GARDEN,’ he wrote.

The former talent manager was dressed to support his team in a blue, orange and black Knicks windbreaker, and Sweeney was spotted in the audience wearing a complementary Knicks jacket.

While grabbing some food before the game, Braun talked up his team in front of a Knicks banner in a video posted to his Instagram Stories.

‘Ready for this game,’ he said after flipping around his baseball cap to reveal the Knicks logo.

‘These are everywhere around the city,’ Braun said as he gestured toward the banner behind him.

He made it clear that he was still furious about Spurs center Victor Wembanyama shoving Jalen Brunson in game three of the series.

‘You shouldn’t have pushed Brunson. You shouldn’t have done that,’ Braun warned. ‘The spirit of [Knicks legend] Charles Oakley is coming to the Garden tonight to knock your f***ing head off.’

It wasn’t any surprise that Braun would attend game four with Sweeney, as he had been cheering on the team throughout the first three games and is a diehard Knicks fan.

Braun’s feud with Swift erupted in 2019, when he purchased the master recordings to her first six studio albums, including her self-titled debut, Fearless, Speak Now, her crossover mega-hit Red, and her first two full-blown pop albums, 1989 and Reputation.

Technically, Braun obtained the records by simply purchasing Swift’s original label, Big Machine Records, which she had already left in favor of the Universal Music Group–owned Republic Records, which released 2019’s Lover and all of her subsequent albums.

After going public about the sale, Swift claimed that she had previously asked Big Machine Records founder Scott Borchetta to let her buy her master recordings from the label, but she claimed he would only allow her to do so on wildly unfavorable terms.

According to the singer–songwriter, Borchetta said she would have to stay with the label and release one new album with it in exchange for the rights to one album at a time, starting with her earliest recordings.
