ProSiebenSat.1 Media is selling North American creator business Studio71 US to Fixated.

The deal, financial terms of which are not being disclosed, is for all companies operating under the Studio71 US banner and does not include the Studio71 business in German-speaking countries, which stays within the Unterföhring-based group.

Studio71 US is one of the original creator businesses, having been founded in 2011 under the name Collective Digital Studio (CDS), and has been part of the ProSiebenSat.1 since 2015. At that point CDS was merged with the German-focused Studio71 under single branding.

The deal was agreed on Friday and closed today, with the transaction is supported by Eldridge Industries, which loaded Fixated with $50M in December.

Collectively, the two companies house more than 1,000 creators across social media platforms, with Studios 71 being the home to the likes of Dhar Mann Studios, Joey Graceffa Tyler Oakley, Unspeakable, Lazarbeam and Matteo Lane.

Studio71 operates an extensive content creator network and a podcast business in North America and ranks among the top 10 U.S. podcast networks. The business works by supporting creators in social media management, video content syndication, production, and content monetization. In fiscal year 2025, the company generated revenue of €246M ($290M).

L.A.-based Fixated, meanwhile, has been growing out its business over recent years and has made a series of acquisitions. In January, we were first with the news it had bought gamer-focused Ellify, and it has also snapped up Camp Talent, Elevate and Moondust Management.

Fixated has positioned itself as a bridge between traditional entertainment infrastructure and the emerging creator economy. It provides offers end-to-end solutions in talent management and content production, helping creators expand their reach, diversify revenue streams, and scale their businesses through brand partnerships and multi-channel strategies.

ProSieben – which owns TV channels, streamer Joyn and several production companies – has sold a number of its operations in recent years, as it seeks to reposition as a digital-first European powerhouse.
