Oasis delighted music fans on Monday as they confirmed that they will be going back on tour next year for 38 new shows.
Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher will return to the stage for a series of concerts in 2027 after the success of their comeback tour in 2025 which saw them reunite following a 15-year break from live performing.
It includes 11 dates at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester next June and four dates in Knebworth in September as they revisit the site of their era‑defining 1996 concerts.
An X statement mocking music journalist Simon Price’s brash criticism of the 90s legends read: ‘START THE CELEBRATIONS!!!! After a period of reflection ‘The Most Damaging Pop Cultural Force In Recent British History’ has declared itself fit for purpose and will once again return to lift the spirits of the people. Come witness the fitness. It shall be a sight to behold.
‘Oasis will tour the UK, mainland Europe, USA and Ireland in 2027! For your chance to buy tickets you must register by 17th Sept, 4pm BST.’
The band will also head to Glasgow for five nights, Munich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Rome, Paris, Boston, Las Vegas and Slane Castle in Ireland.
This time there will be no dynamic pricing used after it caused uproar among fans during their first tour when many ended up paying significantly more than they were expecting to for tickets.
Standard ticket prices will be fixed and range between £71 and £266, it was revealed on Monday.
Fans will have a chance to register to get their tickets and if successful, they will be given a code which will give them access to buy them.

Last week the pair teased the announcement with a drone display in Manchester, as the band’s logo showed up in lights along with the date 14/09/26 and the time 4pm BST.
At the start of September, eagle-eyed fans also noticed a number of clues hidden in two posters which dropped on their Instagram page and hinted at the dates.
One clip showed a boy dressed in a blue raincoat bouncing a football seven times while his friend sketched with chalk 11 strikes on a brick wall.
Oasis’s followers wrote: ‘Blue Moon above the door. 11 nights at Etihad’ and ‘Those are Knebworth shirts on the washing line’.
Another clip of the two boys in the chip shop also sparked a flurry of speculation from fans.
They wrote: ‘Love the mystery, clue vibe. Very 94 Release Cover-Art coded as the kids say now.’
Others spotted numbers on a poster were the coordinates of Celtic Park, while SOL FM was short for Stadium Olimpico, Rome.
The announcement marks the next chapter in one of the most remarkable comebacks in British music history, after the warring brothers stunned fans by putting aside years of bitter animosity to reunite.
Oasis had not performed together since their acrimonious split in 2009, when Noel walked out of the band following a backstage row with his younger brother at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.
So when they finally announced their comeback in August 2024, demand was extraordinary.
The original run of 14 shows in Britain and Ireland was repeatedly extended as millions of fans attempted to secure tickets, with extra dates added amid what the band described as ‘phenomenal’ demand.
It has been a busy time for the boys this month as they were at Venice Film Festival to promote their new documentary film Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger.

It also features their first joint interview in over 20 years.
Following its release on Wednesday in cinemas, fans have taken to X to share their thoughts.

The filmmakers admitted that the Gallaghers were not really on speaking terms when filming began during rehearsals for the tour.
They travelled separately and the tour promoters unusually only paid them once they had completed all 41 dates because they had such a history of conflict.
As the tour went on, their relationship improved and their children met each other for the first time in many years.
Liam and Noel’s tumultuous relationship famously saw Oasis break up 17 years ago as a result of backstage bust-ups, walk-outs and numerous booze-fuelled arguments.
After working through countless bickers since they shot to stardom in the 1990s, fans were left devastated when a dressing room feud in Paris tore the band apart in 2009.
Noel issued a statement at the time, saying: ‘It’s with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight.
‘People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer.’
In another statement a few days later, titled Tales From The Middle Of Nowhere, Noel added: ‘I feel you have the right to know that the level of verbal and violent intimidation towards me, my family, friends and comrades has become intolerable.
‘And the lack of support and understanding from my management and band mates has left me with no other option than to get me cape and seek pastures new.’
In the years that have followed, a feud and bitter fighting has ensued with the brothers trading insults back and forth in interviews and on social media.
