Cindy Crawford and Richard Gere were arguably two of Hollywood’s hottest stars back in the ’80s and ’90s.
And now the former couple’s children are following in their parents’ footsteps in Ryan Murphy‘s raunchy thriller The Shards.
Cindy’s daughter Kaia Gerber, 24, and Richard’s son Homer Gere, 26, stripped down to their underwear while posing underwater in a pool with their co-stars in the first official poster for the upcoming FX series.
Homer is no stranger to flaunting his physique on camera, with the young actor filming a raunchy sex scene with Sydney Sweeney in the most recent season of Euphoria.
Homer and Kaia share a connection through their A-list parents, who got married in Las Vegas back in 1991 before divorcing in 1995.
The Shards, based on the bestselling novel by American Psycho author Bret Easton Ellis, is an incredibly violent and sexually-charged story about a serial killer who stalks a group of privileged high schoolers in 1980s Los Angeles.

The sexually-charged thriller is set to premiere on FX and Hulu on August 5
The novel is a fictionalized version of Bret’s adolescence and many of the characters are based on real life people.
According to the show’s official logline, ‘Igby Rigney stars as Bret, an aspiring writer and keenly observant teenager whose reality begins to unravel with the arrival of a mysterious and magnetic new student, Robert Mallory (played by Homer).
‘Transferring in just before his senior year, Robert’s appearance coincides with the growing terror of The Trawler, a serial killer targeting teenagers across the city,’ it continues.
‘Alongside Bret is his elite social circle, which includes Susan Reynolds (played by Kaia), Debbie Schaffer (Hayes Warner) and Thom Wright (Graham Campbell), a glamorous and deeply entangled group drawn into a life of wealth, beauty, parties and excess.
‘The promise of their youth is contrasted with the dark and cynical world of the adults surrounding them: Terry Schaffer (Wes Bentley), Liz Schaffer (Evan Rachel Wood) and Steven Reinhardt (Jordan Roth).’
The Shards TV series was originally being developed by Oscar-winner Luca Guadagnino for HBO, but the project fell through before being revived by Murphy and FX.
With all the buzz around the series, it’s likely that the racy series will further catapult Kaia and Homer to Hollywood stardom.
Kaia is already a big name in the modelling world, with the brunette beauty winning Model of the Year at the British Fashion Awards back in 2018.

Cindy was only 22 when she started dating Richard in the late ’80s.
In 2023, she revealed in the Apple TV+ series The Supermodels how she changed herself and her interests to align with Richard’s when she began dating the Pretty Woman star in 1988.
‘In the beginning of a relationship, when you’re a young woman, you’re like: “You like baseball? I like baseball,”‘ she said.
‘You’re willing to kind of mold yourself around whoever you are in love with.’
Cindy was 17 years the junior of Richard, now 76, and the couple quietly eloped in 1991 after dating since 1988.
She’s now married to Kaia’s father, businessman Rande Gerber, whom she wed in 1998.
Meanwhile Richard was married to Carey Lowell from 2002 through to their divorce in 2016. He’s now married to his third wife, publicist Alejandra Silva.
