A “ROBLOX programmer” has been charged with sex abuse after cops found a child size sex doll in his home.
When police asked Jamie Borne, 30, about the doll, he responded that “he was very lonely”.
Cops said they found the twisted toy on the sofa in the bedroom of his New Orleans home.
The doll was “dressed in a onesie”, according to Attorney General Liz Murill, who said Borne was a Roblox programmer.
Police alleged they found children’s clothing as well as used and unused condoms at Borne’s home as well as several devices with child sex abuse content.
The suspect also told police he was a Roblox programmer.
But spokesperson from Roblox said that Borne has never worked for the company.
The company told WBRZ: “The individual is not, and has never been, a Roblox employee.”
They did confirm that Borne had an account to design games, known as “experiences”, on the platform.
The spokesperson said: “Roblox’s platform allows people unaffiliated with the company to build experiences that are governed by our robust community standards.
“We currently have more than 2 million creators using our technology to build.
“We have deactivated his experiences and banned his accounts in accordance with our off platform behavior policy in our community standards.”
The Attorney General said: “Our Criminal Division is now prosecuting this disturbing case against Jamie Borne.
“If you possess child sexual abuse materials or child blow up sex dolls, you will face Louisiana justice.”
Cops said Borne admitted to buying the sex doll as well as to owning the child sex abuse material across several devices.
He was already on probation for aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon when cops allegedly found the material.
They seized multiple hard drives, laptops and phones from Borne.
The Sun contacted Roblox for comment.

Roblox is a hugely popular online gaming platform that allows users to create their own games with colourful blocks.
It is not one game, but a constantly changing world of different “experiences”, created by players and amateur developers.
The simple, brightly coloured blocks it uses appeal particularly to children, who can design their own games and interact with each other on smartphones, iPads and computers.
Kids and teens can interact with their friends on the platform, using chat features and playing each other’s games.
But the platform is controversial, partly because children can also talk to strangers on Roblox.
In February, a grieving dad claimed that his daughter, 16, took her own life after being groomed by a satanic predator on the platform.
Penelope Sokolowski took her own life last February after she was recruited into a self-harm group through Roblox.
Suspected school shooter Jesse Van Rootselaar, 18, created a video game that let players simulate a mass shooting on a level designed to look like a shopping centre.
Videos of the game reportedly showed Roblox characters picking up weapons and firing them at other players in a shopping mall.
But it is far from the first violent game on the platform.
In January, a teen was been caught recreating gory ISIS execution videos on Roblox as he aspired to “die as a martyr” fighting alongside terrorists.
The 14-year-old boy was self-radicalised online by Islamic State and wanted to travel around the world carrying out violent attacks.
After an investigation, the teen was banned from leaving Singapore without formal approval from the government and barred from accessing social media.
