JD Vance Struts Like a Trump Mini-Me on Stage, Then Proves Everyone’s Worst Suspicions Right

Vice President JD Vance is raising eyebrows after claiming he’s not a racist during a speech in Texas, then, in the very next breath, making a bigoted statement.

Vance took the stage at American Airlines Arena in Dallas Thursday on the last night of the Republicans’ unusual midterm convention.

As he pitched himself as Trump’s heir apparent, he delivered an intense speech, complete with falsehoods, dog whistles, and even outright telling a protester to go back to Mexico.

The crowd cheered him on as Vance, looking like a Trump mini-me, wore the same navy blue suit the president always wears with a white shirt and shiny red satin tie, basking in the applause and rabid approval of the assembled MAGA faithful.

He started his address with a litany of Republican grievances and rehashing the administration’s stance on immigration.

And that’s where it got a bit strange. Vance seemed to claim he isn’t a “racist,” but what he said next blew that out of the water.

“We were tired of being called racists for noticing that our country was becoming dirtier and poorer and less safe and less prosperous,” Vance smugly told his disciples.

But they cheered the loudest when a protester interrupted the vice president’s speech. According to The Guardian, Vance said the demonstrator was carrying a Mexican flag.

In a furious voice, the former Ohio senator admonished, “Well, my friend, if you love Mexico so much, get your a– over there. I’ll buy you the plane ticket.”

The stadium erupted in cheers, and critics say Vance preened on stage like a molting peacock as he repeated Trump and GOP talking points, claiming the U.S. economy is unbelievably successful, and Democrats are evil villains.

Social media spiraled sideways, calling out Vance and his cronies for what opponents say they really are, “White Christian Nationalists.”

“If you’re tired of being called racist, stop Being racist. I’m not a dem, but WTF republicans? You’re openly saying the quiet part out loud. This is some White Christian nationalist speaking points. All you’re missing is the sheets and the hoods,” an X user demanded.

Others agreed, “But wait.. That’s like the most racist thing you could say.. So that shoe-fits thing???”

This commenter also pointed out the obvious, “What a disgusting piece of sh-t. Does he not realize his kids are nonwhite?”

Vance’s wife, Usha Vance, was born in California and is the daughter of immigrant parents from India. His four children are half Indian.

This X user put it bluntly, too. “Wow. Vance plumbs new bottoms of depredation every day.”

Vance’s racism is nothing new. During the 2024 presidential campaign, he helped elevate a false claim in his home state of Ohio that Haitian immigrants living in Springfield were eating people’s pet dogs and cats.

Both he and Trump continued peddling the falsehood on the campaign trail even after city officials declared it patently false.
