The Danish supermodel, 57, dressed the fashion statement with a gingham minidress and strappy sandals for the outing.
Helena looked effortlessly chic in the £35.99 ($48) black and white dress, from high street fashion brand Mango.
She showcased her age-defying appearance while going makeup-free on her walk around the Big Apple.
Helena’s dazzling modeling career was launched when she won the Miss Universe Denmark title in 1986 and went on to reach staggering heights.
She became a household name after appearing in Chris Isaak’s song Wicked Game and then went on to become one of the original Victoria’s Secret Angels.

As for her personal life, Helena dated the late INXS frontman Michael Hutchence for five years in the early 1990s.
In 1998 she began a relationship with The Walking Dead actor Norman Reedus, 57, for five years.
They welcomed their son, Mingus Lucien Reedus, 26, in 1999. The couple separated in 2003 but remained happy co-parents.
Helena later dated Interpol singer Paul Banks, 48, for seven years.
Earlier this year, Helena celebrated Mother’s Day with her son Mingus, sharing a sweet snap of them having lunch.
Last year, Mingus was arrested and charged with assault and harassment. The nepo baby was taken into custody on August 23, and he reportedly made a disturbing threat when he emerged the day after his arrest.
He allegedly punched ‘a female victim in the leg, causing redness, and then choked her and slammed her to the ground’. He pleaded not guilty to all charges.
In March, it was revealed his case could ultimately be dismissed if he remains ‘arrest free for one year’ according to People.
