Georgia Toffolo has issued an update on her fertility journey, revealing she is ‘still not pregnant’ after 11 months of trying to conceive with husband James Watt.
The Made In Chelsea star, 31, has been open about her struggles in recent months, explaining that sharing with her followers and hearing their stories has helped her on her journey.
In her latest update on Friday, Georgia took to Instagram to share: ‘Everyone knows what I’m gonna say, I’m still not pregnant.
‘Cut a long story short, we are onto month 11 of trying, which I never – I don’t know why I thought I was special and different and lucky and all these things – but I never thought that by month 11, we would still be trying for a baby.
‘I just had it in my head, I thought the baby would have arrived by now.’
Toff then explained that she had been unsettled by the news that it’s considered to be ‘unexplained infertility’ after 12 months of trying, with her heart ‘going funny’ at the fact she might reach that milestone in a few weeks.

Toff continued: ‘It’s so tough. My way of making me feel better is to talk quite openly about it and just be like “it’s s**t” and have a bit of a laugh.
‘But I’m also quite cautious to not use my humor or my very sunny positive outlook on life to diminish the impact of what it’s having on us because it is so sad.’
She went on to note that she feels lucky that she hasn’t conceived and miscarried, but added: ‘At the same time, it’s like that barren desert of nothingness, which makes me really scared.’
Yet she revealed she was remaining optimistic with ‘a crazy amount of faith’, musing: ‘Maybe sometimes you have the same amount of good luck and bad luck, and this is our swing of bad luck.’
Toff went on to thank her followers for sharing their stories and giving her some advice, before welling up and saying: ‘The only thing I get upset about is our little family and how – I don’t know how to put it – how excited everyone is for this next chapter, and the chapter’s not starting.
‘There’s a part of me that feels like my body’s failing all the time.’
She admitted she had begun to question if she was the problem, because James, 44, has two daughters from his marriage to Johanna Basford, yet they had both been tested and doctors couldn’t find anything wrong.
Toff then mused if her infertility was because she hasn’t ‘created enough emotional safety’ for herself, adding: ‘If I ever get a positive pregnancy test, it will be forever the best moment of my life.
‘And I’m just gonna try and be as calm and as trusting as possible until I pray that day comes. But we are so ready.
‘I’m gonna pray and I’m gonna hope and I’m gonna wish. But just like what an amazing life lesson when I can zoom out and be objective about it. We’re not in control.’

Toff captioned her lengthy video: ‘ A very honest life update… We’re approaching a year of trying for a baby. 11 whole months. I can’t believe I’m even typing that.
‘I’ve remained incredibly positive and I am crazily grateful for the beautiful life and family I already have but I also want to be honest – it’s tough. Xx.’
Toff previously opened up about the ‘lonely and crazy’ journey to welcome a child with James, expressing her frustration that it was yet to happen.
Thanking fans for their supportive comments, Georgia took to Instagram the following day to theorise whether the downfall of BrewDog had anything to do with it.
Millionaire James came under fire this year when his beer brand racked up debts of more than £500million before collapsing into administration.
Amid the company’s collapse, questions arose over the company’s long trail of controversy, failed enterprises, and allegations of toxic culture.
Addressing the fallout, Georgia said: ‘I’m sitting here thinking about the year. We’ve had so much stress. I’m sure you guys have seen it all, public stuff like the BrewDog stuff has been really difficult to navigate…’
Georgia and James tied the knot in Scotland in March 2024, onboard a fishing boat just off the coast of the picturesque town of Gardenstown in Aberdeenshire.
