The star-studded cast looked criminally stylish for the premiere of Guy Ritchie‘s crime drama The Gentlemen season two at the Guildhall Art Gallery in London tonight.

Maya Jama, 32, injected a sprinkle of gangster glamour in a daringly cut leather gown, custom made by her stylist Rhea Francois, as she arrived on the red carpet for her first ever movie premiere.

The Love Island host makes her acting debut as Aisha, the wife of a criminal associate of Theo James‘s character, Eddie Horniman.

Meanwhile, Kaya Scodelario, 34, channelled her impeccably styled character Susie as she dazzled in diamonds while dressed in a custom Paolo Sebastian corset gown.

Scodelario returns for season two as the daughter of a mobster named Bobby Glass (Ray Winstone) who has a weed empire on English country estates.

And life imitated art as James channelled his duke turned crime boss character Eddie, dressed to the nines in a bespoke suit.

Hugh Bonneville appeared alongside his partner Heidi Kadlecova after joining the cast as the colourful Lord Hawthorne.

Ritchie, who has directed the crime drama, was joined at the premiere by his son Rocco and wife Jacqui Ainsley, 44. Ritchie shares Rocco, 26, with his ex-wife Madonna.

The new series of the crime comedy-drama, which releases tomorrow on Netflix, also sees Vinnie Jones and Daniel Ings reprise their roles as Geoffrey Seacombe and the not-so-clever brother Freddy Horniman.

Jones looked countryside chic in a tweed suit as he put on an animated display on the carpet.

He was supported by his partner Emma Ford at the premiere. The couple debuted their relationship in 2024, after the death of Vinnie’s wife Tanya from cancer in 2019.

The new glimpse at the upcoming series shows James’s character Eddie take on the Glass empire as he makes a bid to resume complete control of his estate.

At the start of the clip, he says: ‘400 years ago, this estate spread out as far as the eye could see,’ over sweeping shots of his sprawling grounds. ‘I want it all back.’

However, the path to total domination never runs smooth, especially when the opponent is Bobby.

But Bobby is aware of Eddie and Susie’s ambitions to expand their criminal empire, as he tells them he knows they are hoping he might support their efforts to ‘decriminalize marijuana’.

Giancarlo Esposito also returns as Stanley Johnston to further fuel Eddie’s desire to rule, telling him: ‘Forge your own path. Move away from Bobby Glass.’

At the start of the series, it has been a year since Eddie and Susie joined forces to work together overseas as part of Bobby’s operation.

But it soon becomes clear that neither of them agree with the recent decisions that kingpin Bobby has made.

With Bobby standing in the way of expanding the criminal empire, Eddie and Susie must decide whether to fall in line or make their own moves.

The trailer also introduces Bonneville’s character Lord Hawthorne and Jama as a gangster’s moll, after they both joined the series’ second season.

Ahead of the premiere, it was claimed that former British royal Meghan Markle had been offered a role in the third instalment of the show.

But just as quickly as the news was released, it was then claimed the offer had been withdrawn after the reaction in Britain became too ‘intense’, according to royal author Tina Brown.

Ms Brown said: ‘I learned that the casting of Meghan Markle has been withdrawn. The backlash was so intense it became untenable to go forward.’

In her Fresh Hell Substack newsletter, the author wrote: ‘This does not bode well for Markle’s acting comeback.’

Just four years ago, Markle insisted she had no plans to return to acting. In 2022, she told Variety magazine: ‘I’m done. I guess never say never but my intention is to absolutely not.’

Now, however, her return to the screen has been touted by sources ‘close to the duchess’ as one of the reasons she and Prince Harry are returning to Britain.
