They’ve traded their fast paced life in London for a more sedate lifestyle in coastal Margate.
But Emma Corrin was back in the English capital and making the most of rising spring temperatures on Monday afternoon.
The British star, best known for their portrayal of Diana, Princess of Wales in Netflix drama The Crown, caught the eye in a flimsy vest top while leaving Beaumont Hotel in upmarket Mayfair.
Completing the relaxed look with a pair of low-rise jeans and black leather lace-ups, Corrin, 30, appeared to be in high spirits during their latest appearance in the city.
Accessorising tastefully, the actor opted for a smart leather holdall and heavily tinted sunglasses while making their way towards a waiting car clutching a hardback copy of author Olivia Laing’s 2025 novel, The Silver Book.
Kent born Corrin relocated to Margate in her home county from London in 2023 and has since become immersed in the town’s thriving life.

‘I really love it,’ they told Jessie and Lennie Ware’s Table Manners podcast of the town and their favourite local haunts.
‘Curve Coffee is amazing. It’s adjacent to the town, just above the high street, in a little square. Curve does the best Kimchi toastie you will ever try, it’s so good.’
Such is the pull of Margate among curious creatives, the town has been playfully nicknamed ‘Shoreditch-On-Sea’ after the notorious hipster enclave in east London.
But Corrin says they steer clear of nights out in the English capital, preferring instead the close proximity of restaurants and bars on their doorstep.
‘I’m really bad at eating out in London, I never do it,’ they said. ‘In Margate I do it, because everything’s really close.
‘Where I always go is High Dive. They started with a tiny little place, on the harbour arm, and it’s tacos and enchiladas and stuff like that. It’s so good. They do the most insane spicy margaritas.’
Corrin is understood to be single after ending their relationship with Oscar winning actor Rami Malek earlier this year.
The couple have not commented on their separation and, despite several appearances together on the red carpet at premieres, they have been notoriously private about their relationship.
In a magazine interview last May, Corrin even declined to speak about their relationship.
Malek was equally vague, describing Corrin as ‘fascinating’ and once revealing that they cooked him a surprise Thanksgiving dinner, ‘trimmings and all’, that ‘blew him away’.

Corrin – who came out as queer in 2021 and identifies as non-binary, using the pronouns they/them – said the ‘vitriol’ targeted at their gender identity was ‘worse than I anticipated’, adding: ‘Even though we like to think we’re in a progressive society, a lot of what we’re seeing is increasingly a step back.’
Corrin is busy filming the Netflix adaptation of Pride And Prejudice, playing heroine Elizabeth Bennet opposite Slow Horses actor Jack Lowden as Mr Darcy.
Malek is currently starring in recently released spy drama The Amateur, playing a CIA decoder out for revenge after terrorists kill his wife, and is also set to appear in Nuremberg, a drama about the Nazi war trials, as US psychiatrist Douglas Kelley.
The film also stars Russell Crowe, Michael Shannon and One Day star Leo Woodall.
