The terrifying UFO experience of a senior US intelligence officer has been revealed for the first time in the Trump administration’s latest disclosure release.
In 2025, the unnamed officer came face-to-face with mysterious ‘orange orbs’ that soared near their helicopter, as they and colleagues were on a secret mission to ‘investigate loud thuds heard in the mountains on the test range.’
What began as a routine search for debris from weapons testing quickly escalated into what the officer described as ‘a series of close UAP encounters lasting over an hour.’
At one point, ground teams tracking the objects on infrared cameras reportedly spotted a ‘super-hot’ object moving at high speed before suddenly splitting into two separate craft and changing direction.
Moments later, according to the report, one of the objects rose from the ground and flew within just 10 feet of the helicopter before dropping below the aircraft and accelerating away at extreme speed.
The pilots watched through night-vision goggles as the object split apart again, with a smaller craft emerging from the larger orb before both vanished into the darkness.
Fighter jets were later deployed into the area, where the same glowing objects allegedly appeared directly above the aircraft in formation.
‘We were virtually speechless after these observations,’ the official concluded in their report.

The official and crew were tasked with investigating UFO reports that had surfaced from the mountain range over the previous several nights.
They spotted debris on the ground, determining it was remnants of rockets and other projectiles that had crashed during weapon testing on the range.
As the crew began heading back to homebase, they received a message from the Joint Operations Center (JOC), saying radar had picked up ‘hits’ in the same area as the mysterious activity was reported the night before.
‘I relayed this to the pilots, and we altered course to intercept,’ the intelligence officer wrote.
‘What followed was a series of close UAP encounters lasting over an hour.’
The report then states that the grounds team spotted ‘super-hot’ UFOs flying close to the ground, ‘and moving east to south at high speed,’ and split into two.
The official received a radio from the ground team, saying the object had risen from the ground, soared just 10 feet away from the helicopter and then sped off.
‘We briefly pursued but broke off, unable to match its speed,’ reads the officer’s statement.

Minutes later, the JOC directed the helicopter crew toward fresh radar detections several miles away, where they spotted what the intelligence officer described as ‘countless orange orbs swarming in all directions’ against the mountainside backdrop.
Hovering roughly 700 feet above the ground, the crew allegedly watched two glowing oval-shaped objects suddenly appear beside the helicopter, remaining stationary just above the aircraft’s rotor blades.
According to the report, the mysterious objects glowed orange with white or yellow centers and emitted light in every direction.
Seconds later, additional orbs reportedly appeared beneath the first pair, forming a bizarre ‘T’ formation before dimming one by one and disappearing into the darkness.
The encounter lasted only ten to 15 seconds, but the intelligence officer wrote that the objects were so close to the helicopter that the pilots briefly considered making an emergency landing.
Soon afterward, fighter jets entered the area during a training mission, and the crew claimed the same glowing objects appeared directly above the aircraft in horizontal formations, matching the jets’ speed and flight path.
The officer remarked that the mysterious orbs appeared to be ‘chasing’ the fighters as they crossed the restricted airspace.
