Sony Pictures just released a new trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which includes a first look at Mark Ruffalo‘s reprisal of the Hulk.

“What is happening to me?” Tom Holland‘s Peter Parker says in the teaser. “I’m losing my mind. I am totally out of control, and I gotta fix whatever this is right now.”

The preview also shows Peter seeking out Ruffalo’s Dr. Bruce Banner, who “found a way to suppress mutating DNA.”

Bruce shows Peter the device that helps him avoid mutating into the Hulk and jokes that if he ever sees him without it, he should “Run!” Scenes later, Bruce transforms into the Hulk right in front of Spider-Man, which you can see in the video posted above.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3gAlCLVpePk

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to release on July 31, 2026. The film, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, stars Holland, who reprises his role as Peter Parker and Zendaya as MJ. Also confirmed to star in the movie are Jon Bernthal, Sadie Sink, and Liza Colón-Zayas.

The logline for the superhero film says, “It’s a BRAND NEW DAY for Peter Parker. Fighting crime full-time as Spider-Man in a world that doesn’t remember him—and the pressure of seeing his old friends move on without him—sparks a change in Peter he may not have the power to control. But that transformation might also be the only thing that can stop a shocking new threat to the city and those he loves – a powerful villain no one can even see. The world may have forgotten Peter Parker, but he hasn’t forgotten them.”
