Laura Byrne will remember the 2026 Logie Awards for years to come, and for all the wrong reasons.

The Bachelor star confessed on Tuesday that she left the glittering event with more than she bargained for.

‘I sh** you not, I got a haemorrhoid last night,’ she told her Life Uncut podcast co-host, Brittany Hockley.

‘What the f*** are you doing at the Logies? You don’t go to the Logies haemorrhoid-free and come home with a haemorrhoid,’ questioned Hockley.

‘I came home and all night I was like, “Why is there a pain in my a***?”‘  added Byrne.

She put her painful predicament down to ‘standing so long in a pair of high heels’ after ‘giving birth to three kids vaginally’.

She captioned the eye-watering confession shared to Instagram: ‘Would have preferred coming home with a goodie bag to be honest’.

It comes after Byrne revealed what really happened when she crossed paths with Georgia Love on the Logies red carpet on Sunday night – ten years after Georgia famously broke Matty ‘J’ Johnson‘s heart on The Bachelorette.

Matty J was left devastated back in 2016 when Georgia dumped him and chose Lee Elliott as her leading man on the reality TV show.

Laura, who went on to win Matty J’s heart on the fifth season of The Bachelor before marrying him, insisted there was no lingering tension between the women after they had an unexpected encounter at The Star in Sydney.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Mail, Laura laughed off suggestions the reunion had been uncomfortable.

‘No, not at all. Why?’ she said when asked if the run-in was awkward.

‘I mean, it’s been ten years since my season of The Bachelor, and we’ve been married for how many years? And we have three children…’

The cordial encounter may surprise longtime Bachelor fans, as Laura previously launched a blistering attack on Georgia over comments she made about another star of the dating franchise.

In 2019, Laura took aim at the former television reporter after Georgia posted an expletive-laden tweet about Bachelor Matt Agnew.

Georgia had lashed out after Matt eliminated fan favourite Elly Miles, writing: ‘F*** YOU MATT. Don’t @ me.’

‘My issue with it didn’t so much come from, “She’s offering criticism,”‘ Laura said at the time.

‘I mean, it’s totally okay to not be an Abbie [Chatfield] fan and to be upset that your favourite character is going home. However, language is really, really important.

‘She didn’t say, “Hey, this isn’t cool.” She chose to use obscenities and basically verbally abused Matt for his choices.’

The jewellery designer argued Georgia’s post set a ‘really, really low bar’ for acceptable online commentary and could encourage other viewers to abuse the astrophysicist.
