Brittany Hockley has been forced to discuss her fertility struggles after being criticised for remaining childfree after her marriage.
The podcaster and former Bachelor star has been sharing her luxurious lifestyle, travelling the world to exotic locations with her new husband, Benjamin Siegrist.
Over a year after they walked down the aisle, the 38-year-old and her 34-year-old Swiss soccer player partner have been enjoying their marriage and flaunting their travels on social media.
‘I’m 38. Married. Travel the world. No kids,’ reads one reel shared on Instagram, that shows the genetically-blessed couple visiting Europe and various far-flung destinations.
That has led to questions, and criticism, which Brittany addressed in a heartfelt social media post this week.
‘Every day I get asked why I don’t have kids, or if I am having them. That I am missing out. To that I say, I can’t fall pregnant,’ she wrote.

Brittany continued in her caption: ‘It’s not for lack of trying, trust me. No harm is ever meant when people ask, I know that. And my answer might sound blunt.
‘But we haven’t been able to fall pregnant. This is just the truth of it.
‘And anyone that struggles with infertility knows, it consumes your life and your thoughts. Because I also wonder when and if we will have kids. It truly is exhausting.
‘So anyone going through it, I get it. I get you. I feel you. There’s a lot of us!’
She went on: ‘But I hope you’re still able to enjoy life while you’re in the thick of it because it’s easy to let it completely take over.
‘But it would be a shame to miss life’s beautiful moments that are still happening. Because life is still happening, and we get just one. Hopefully it happens for us.
‘Until then, I guess we just keep travelling and enjoying life and hey, trying in different tropical locations isn’t the worst.’
The former reality star had a lot of support in her comments section, including from model Erin Holland, who has detailed her own fertility struggles.

‘Never a truer word spoken. I would simply reply with, “Five years of IVF, I’m doing my best, mate” by the end. Thank you for reminding us girl. I wish we all took a little more care in our words,’ Erin wrote.
Author Libby Babet chimed in: ‘Was in that place for ten solid years, so I felt this to my bones. The way I would’ve loved to see someone share this when I was in the thick of the waiting and wishing part, thanks for this little gift to the girls.’
Brittany’s sister Sheridan Hockley commented: ‘Love you both so much. You’re living a wonderful life and if a baby comes in and adds to that wonderful life, it will be so lucky to be born into so much love and adventure.’
The television personality tied the knot with soccer player Benjamin in a lavish Balinese ceremony in June 2025.
Brittany recently announced that she was relocating to Italy to live with Benjamin.
She confirmed the exciting news in December, telling her Life Uncut co-host Laura Byrne that the move was necessary to spend more quality time with her husband after they tried a long-distance relationship.
