Park Forest police are investigating the deaths of two women who were discovered last night in a home on the 300 block of Miami Street.
Police said they responded to a report of a gunshot victim and also found two unharmed children in the home where the women were found with gunshot wounds at 6:08 p.m.

US homelessness up 18% as affordable housing remains out of reach for many people
The United States saw an 18.1% increase in homelessness this year, a dramatic rise driven mostly by a lack of affordable housing as well as devastating natural disasters and a surge of migrants in several parts of the country, federal officials said. Read more here.
