She has spent decades dedicated to wildlife conservation, but Terri Irwin was all about family this week as she celebrated turning 62 in the most heartwarming way.
The beloved matriarch beamed with joy as she marked her special day surrounded by her daughter Bindi Irwin, 27, son-in-law Chandler Powell, 29, and her adorable five-year-old granddaughter, Grace Warrior.
Taking to Instagram to share a glimpse into her sweet family celebrations, Terri looked radiant in a cosy white cardigan adorned with bright yellow flowers.
In one precious photo, she smiled alongside little Grace Warrior, who proudly showed off a handmade birthday card drawn with colourful markers.
The card, addressed to ‘Deer Bunny’, featured a sweet drawing of a stick figure and an animal.
Bindi was quick to show her love in the comments section, writing: ‘The most wonderful day! We all love you SO much.’

The family kept the celebrations fun and low-key, treating the birthday girl to a trip to the cinema, where a massive screen lit up behind them reading, ‘Happy Birthday Bunny,’ complete with colourful cartoon illustrations of crocodiles and giraffes.
Later in the evening, the family tucked into a delicious pizza party and treated Terri to a gorgeous, vibrant pink birthday cake decorated with a simple white frosted flower.
Terri’s son Robert did not appear to be in attendance.
The joyful birthday comes hot on the heels of her appearance at the Las Vegas Steve Irwin Gala in May, where she cheekily revealed the major difference between her late husband, ‘Crocodile Hunter’ Steve Irwin, and their 22-year-old son, Robert.
‘I will say that the thing that Robert’s got that Steve didn’t: Steve never took his shirt off for wildlife,’ she joked, according to Yahoo Lifestyle Australia.
Robert cheekily replied, ‘Whatever gets the job done.’
Terri appeared to be referring to Robert’s notorious ‘thirst trap’ underwear campaign.

Robert has continued to flaunt his buff physique since, including a shirtless salsa routine on Dancing with the Stars US last September.
Elsewhere at the charity event, which raises money for wildlife conservation, Terri paid tribute to Steve and their life together at Australia Zoo.
‘It was a lot of work, it was a lot of grief. There were times of great joy,’ she said.
‘And to be able to have shared that with him was incredibly special – and carry it on,’ Terri added.
While building a high profile as a mainstream TV presenter in Australia as co-host of ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here’, Robert continues to be involved with the Irwin family’s Australia Zoo.
Terri and Steve’s daughter, Bindi Irwin and her husband, Chandler Powell, live with their five-year-old daughter, Grace Warrior, at the sanctuary, where the couple are heavily involved in operations.
Steve Irwin’s family continued his life’s work after the celebrity conservationist died when he was struck in the chest by a stingray while filming underwater in 2006.
