Two people were injured and at least one person is in custody after suspects led police on a pursuit in Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon.
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to KTLA that the pursuit began around 1:52 p.m. for a call of a stolen black Infiniti near Dorsey Street and 41st Place.
LAPD said there were two occupants in the stolen car.
Then, around 1:55 p.m., LAPD said a call came in for a man and woman who had just been injured by the pursuit in the area of Vernon and Central avenues in the Central Alameda neighborhood.
Police confirmed that a woman was walking when she was struck; as of 5:40 p.m., it was not clear whether the injured man was a pedestrian or a suspect in the pursuit.
Ambulances were called for both patients, and police said the woman was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
Officials had no further details available on either patient’s status as of Sunday evening.
Footage from the Citizen app showed the end of the pursuit where the black Infiniti appeared to have crashed through a residential fence under a tree.
Details are limited, and police did not immediately clarify whether the second occupant of the suspect vehicle was apprehended.
