A woman was raped at knifepoint by a stranger next to to Brooklyn’s famed Coney Island boardwalk, cops said Monday.
The 46-year-old victim, who is not from the city, had been staying temporarily under the boardwalk though she had previously been living in a shelter, police sources said.
She was forced to the ground at knifepoint by two homeless men near Surf Ave. and W. 10th St. about 9 p.m. Sunday, cops said.
As one of the men raped her the other fought off her 34-year-old boyfriend, who tried to intervene, striking him with an object, cops said.
Cops arrested David Davon-Bonilla, 24, for rape, assault, sex abuse and weapon possession.
Leovando Marino, 37, was charged with felony assault and weapon possession for allegedly attacking the victim’s boyfriend.
Medics took the woman to Coney Island Hospital in stable condition. Her boyfriend declined medical attention.
