WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A woman died after officers found her shot inside a vehicle in Northeast D.C. on Tuesday.
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said on Oct. 1, just after 1 p.m., officers responded to the 900 block of Eastern Avenue for shooting.
There, they found a woman unconscious in a vehicle with gunshot wounds.
She died at the scene.
Police said the woman has not yet been identified, and detectives are still working to learn the events that led to the shooting.
