A YOUNG woman has been found dead in a boat yard – with a suspect has been arrested for her murder.
Police sealed off the site of the former boat-building yard in the Welsh coastal town of Cardigan after the body was found on Saturday afternoon.

Detectives are not naming the woman, in her twenties but say a man, 29, has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
And they are appealing for help from anyone around the area of the Netpool Boat Yard from Thursday night who may have seen anything suspicious.
A witness said a boat was covered in black tarpaulin to be taken away by police for examination.
There are a series of former fishermen’s cottages around the boatyard site which closed more than 20 years ago. Some of the boats in the yard are occupied.
The boatyard sits in the mouth of the River Teifi estuary in the 4,000-population town – and is a favourite of anglers and visitors.
One woman living nearby said: “She was such a sweet girl, she really was. Our thoughts are with her family.”
A Dyfed Powys police spokesperson said: “There continues to be an increased Police presence in Cardigan, following the discovery of a body of a woman in Netpool Boat Yard, Cardigan at approx. 12.35pm yesterday afternoon (Saturday, November 15).
“One man, aged 29 has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
“The woman’s next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
“Police continue to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident and are particularly interested in speaking with anybody who may have been at the location, or may have seen anyone at the location, from around 9pm on Thursday 13, November.
“Anyone with any information that could assist us with our investigation are asked to get in touch.”
Locals in the West Wales coastal town reported a hive of police activity around the boat yard site.
One said: “There were police cars everywhere – it is obviously very serious and not what you expect in such a quiet place.”
Officers cordoned off the Netpool slipway and nearby access roads.
Late on Saturday night, a boat covered in black plastic sheeting was removed from the scene as part of the ongoing forensic investigation.
