A WOMAN reportedly faked a pregnancy and had a baby shower before “introducing” the creepy doll to her friends and family and then told them her daughter had died.

The woman – who The Sun will not be naming – sent her friends and family baby scans and they were all overjoyed at the news, pals say.

She filmed videos of her stomach, pressing and prodding it, talking about her “princess kicking”.

Her excited friends and family sent baby clothes and gifts for the new arrival, they say.

And they claim they even threw her a gender reveal party, where she shot a cannon and saw pink confetti burst out.

She bent over laughing and crying in joy over the reveal – shocked friends said.

Posts on Facebook claim she constantly texted her friends about feeling lonely and suffering from morning sickness.

The supposed mum allegedly bought a fake baby bump and wore it to weddings.

Screenshots of texts show the “mum” sharing the news that she gave birth to a daughter she “can’t wait to meet you”.

She bombarded her social media profiles with videos and photos of her supposed baby.

The “new mum” posted a date, time and weight of the doll dressed in a hat with a dummy in her mouth.

Hundreds of doting comments flooded in congratulating her.

She posted pictures of the doll in different outfits in carriers and pushchairs gifted to her by allegedly duped friends and family.

The supposed mum even used AI to make it look like the “baby” was moving in videos, friends say.

When her family raised concerns that the baby wasn’t moving or opening her eyes, she said they went to the doctor to get checked out and it was normal, Facebook posts claim.

Her manager even told her to take time off and bond with her daughter, a friend said.

Friends thought she was just being protective not letting anyone touch or hold her baby as a new mum.

But suddenly she deleted all pictures of the supposed baby from her Facebook, pals say.

She even told the dad – who she had separated from – that their baby had tragically died, it is understood.

A friend – revealing her shock in a viral Facebook post – says she penned a long and emotional post saying her baby was born with a heart defect and would need surgery.

But eventually her ruse came to light when a betrayed pal posted the tale online.

Hundreds of shocked friends commented, horrified, and mums who have suffered the loss of their own babies were disgusted at the ruse.

Some even said the woman had comforted them and they bonded over shared grief.
