A MAN has been charged with murder in connection with the death of his 40-year-old wife, who was attacked with a knife in her own home.
Agne Druskienea was found suffering with knife wounds at a property in Havering, East London, in the early hours yesterday.
Despite the best efforts of medics, who battled to save her life, she tragically passed away at the scene.
Paramedics from the London Ambulance service called cops to the horrific incident after finding Agne just after 1am.
The 40-year-old’s next of kin have been informed of the tragedy and are being supported by specialist officers.
Augustinas Druskis, 43, has now been charged with murder in connection with Agne’s death.
He is due to appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 20 October.
The man – who was married to the victim – was arrested at the scene.
The Met Police are asking anyone with information relating to the harrowing incident to contact them immediately.
