The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, predicting as much as an inch or two of snowfall as snow showers move through the Baltimore region.
The forecast for Friday calls for a high of 44, meaning the snow could mix with rain in the Baltimore area. Friday night temperatures will dip down to 28, however. In addition to snow, wind is expected Friday night between 11 and 13 mph with possible gusts up to 25 mph.

The weekend should remain clear, but windy, until Sunday night when more winter weather is expected to arrive. Saturday will bring a high of 34 and gusts of western wind as high as 30 mph. Saturday’s low will be around 24.
Sunny weather Sunday will give way to snow at night. How much snow will fall is unknown, as meteorologists at NWS say their different models aren’t coming to a consensus. If not purely snow, the precipitation could be a wintry mix of sleet, freezing rain and snow.
While they may not have accumulation totals yet, meteorologists believe the precipitation will last from between Sunday afternoon and evening until early Tuesday morning.
