The Wolverines beat Texas A&M on Saturday, 91-79, in a game that saw eight lead changes. Michigan grabbed their final lead of the game with 6:08 to go in the game on a Roddy Gayle Jr. free throw to push the Wolverines ahead, 71-70. Michigan outscored the Aggies, 56-40 in the second half and ended the game on a 9-0 run.
Auburn topped Creighton by outrebounding the Blue Jays, 37-27, and by outscoring Creighton’s bench, 31-10. Tahaad Pettiford scored a majority of Auburn’s bench points with 23 while Chad Baker-Mazara led all starters with 17 points.
