Audience members watching the Oscars at home accused Hollywood stars of hijacking the red carpet by sharing their political messages.

‘I haven’t watched the Oscars for decades. I got tired at being taken hostage and subjected to a bunch of whining thespians lecturing about their political views,’ one person wrote on X.

‘And here is the reason why no one is watching this 3 hour far left uneducated lecture,’ another person wrote.

A third person added, ‘I don’t watch any of those things. For years now. If it didn’t get shared on social media I’d never see ANY of it and I’d be fine lol.’
