Wow, a recent article in The Baltimore Sun reports that fragments of amber have been found in Antarctica and it was suggested by scientists that the Antarctic was once a lush jungle (“Newly discovered amber reveals Antarctica once looked very different,” Nov. 18).
So I guess all of the coal burning power plants and gas burning cars are the reason Antarctica was once a lush jungle.
