WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Several fire trucks briefly blocked off Wisconsin Avenue early Monday morning while responding to a call in Northwest D.C.
Vito Maggiolo, a spokesperson with the DC Fire and EMS Department, told DC News Now that there was a small mulch fire outside a building in the 2000 block of Wisconsin Avenue. This is next to the DC News Now studio.
Maggiolo said the original call came in for smoke inside the garage.
Crews were seen laying out their water hoses on the scene, and the aerial ladder was extended toward the building.
At this time, it is unknown if anyone was hurt.
