COPS have launched an urgent hunt to help find a missing teenager who vanished from a busy town.
Concerns are growing for Cayden Sweeney, 14, from Dovecot, in Liverpool, who was last seen yesterday afternoon.
The schoolboy was reported missing at around 1pm yesterday.
Enquiries are ongoing to find Cayden, who was last seen wearing a black Nike jacket and tracksuit bottoms.
The teen was also wearing black trainers and had a bag with him at the time of his disappearance.
He is described as being around 6ft tall and slim with blonde hair.
Merseyside Police confirmed the youngster has links to nearby Kensington, Southport and Liverpool city centre.
In a statement on social media, the force said: “Please share and help us find a missing teenager from Dovecot.
“Cayden Sweeney, aged 14, was reported missing at around 1pm today (Thursday 9 October).
“Enquiries are ongoing to find him. He is described as being around 6ft tall, has a slim build, blonde hair and green eyes.
“When last seen he was wearing a black Nike jacket and tracksuit bottoms, black trainers and he had a bag.
“Cayden has links to Kensington, the city centre and Southport.
“If you see Cayden please call 999 so we can make sure he’s safe.”
