A FRANTIC search is underway for a missing schoolboy who vanished from a city centre in broad daylight.
Jay Black was last spotted in Church Street in Liverpool city centre on Boxing Day, police said.
The 12-year-old is described as a white male, 5ft 5in tall with black curly hair.
Merseyside Police said he was last seen wearing a beige top, black trousers and black trainers.
Jay is known to frequent Liverpool city centre, they added.
A spokesperson for the force said: “If you see him, please call 999 so we can make sure he’s safe.”
