Universal Studios Hollywood will host a virtual open call auditions for prospective applicants to become Studio Tour guides.
The open call will run from April 23 through May 14.
“The role of a Studio Tour Guide is to entertain and educate the millions of guests visiting Universal Studios Hollywood’s world-renowned, behind-the-scenes Studio Tour attraction, which recently marked a milestone 60 years of moviemaking magic. The Studio Tour is the genesis of Universal Studios Hollywood,” the theme park said in a news release.
Those interested in applying must submit an audition tape that includes a brief introduction and relevant experience emphasizing public speaking, performance, or customer engagement. They must also read a passage from the official Studio Tour script.
Universal Studios Hollywood opened its Studio Tour attraction in 1964. Initially, guests boarded the red and white Glamor Trams and took a two-hour journey to see moviemaking magic behind the scenes.
