LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) said two people were taken to the hospital after a shooting in Sterling on Wednesday.
The shooting happened in the 21000 block of Ridgetop Circle and prompted a heavy law enforcement presence in the area early Wednesday morning.
Details remain limited; however, the LCSO told DC News Now that deputies are on the scene.
The condition of the victims is unknown at this time.
The community is asked to avoid the area as the investigation continues.
