IRAN’S twisted Ayatollah has lashed out at Donald Trump accusing him of being responsible for the deaths of over 3,000 protesters.

Tyrant Ali Khamenei, 86, labelled the US president a “criminal” as he claimed Trump fuelled the nationwide demonstrations which saw his security forces shoot civilians dead on the street.

Khamenei says Iran views Trump as the main reason for the “casualties, damages and slander” in Tehran across the past three weeks.

The official death toll across Tehran stands at 3,090, according to human rights activists, but fears remain that the true total could be closer to 12,000.

Iran’s regime has blamed the violence and deaths on “terrorists” despite horrifying claims security forces have been luring protesters into “kill zones”.

Khamenei went into hiding once Trump started to threaten to launch strikes on Tehran over the deaths of the protesters.

Washington promised to save the people of Tehran as Trump said there would be “very strong action” taken against the Ayatollah for the blood spilled.

Khamenei is believed to have only just emerged from his secret bunker once the US called off the strikes.

Speaking in front of hundreds of his supporters in Tehran, Khamenei said today: “We find the US President guilty due to the casualties, damages and slander he inflicted upon the Iranian nation.

“We will not drag the country into war, but we will not let domestic or international criminals go unpunished.”

He added: “Those linked to Israel and the US caused massive damages and killed several thousands”.

The cowering Iranian regime promised not to execute jailed demonstrators after Trump raged over the unlawful convictions.

The White House has warned of “grave consequences” if any executions are carried out and if the street killings continue.

Protests have slowed down in recent days amid fears that civilians have become so fearful of being killed that many no longer dare to step outside, sources told the New York Post.

Concerns are now looming over what Khamenei and his cronies could do next after crushing thousands of national dissidents.

The weakened and cornered regime has continued to hone its terrifying arsenal of ballistic missiles and nuclear weapons programme while killing its people, sources said.

Analysts fear the rogue state’s rulers are aware they are on their last legs with their days now numbered.

Experts have told The Sun that the tyrannical regime is likely to prepare to launch a terrifying Doomsday last stand.
