(NewsNation) — A group of pro-Palestinian activists vandalized President Donald Trump’s Turnberry golf resort in Scotland on Saturday morning.
Palestine Action claimed responsibility for the crimes, which included defacing a building, digging up greens and painting “GAZA IS NOT 4 SALE” on a fairway.
Other graffiti that read “Free Gaza” was spotted on part of a building at Trump Turnberry.
On X, the activist group issued a threat to the president.
“Whilst Trump attempts to treat Gaza as his property, he should know his own property is within reach,” the post said.
According to multiple reports, Police Scotland is investigating the incident.
It follows Trump’s proposal to turn the war-torn Gaza Strip into a “riviera of the Middle East.”
“The US will take over the Gaza Strip and we will do a job with it too,” Trump said last month, alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House.
Two weeks ago, Trump shared an AI-generated video to Truth Social, purporting to show what the Gaza Strip looks like now and under his purview.
