GOP presidential nominee former President Donald Trump on Sunday criticized Taylor Swift, saying he “hated” her, days after she endorsed his White House rival Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris.
“I hate Taylor Swift,” Trump posted on the social media platform Truth Social.
In Swift’s post Tuesday night, she called Harris a “steady-handed, gifted leader.”
“I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election,” Swift said to her more than 283 million Instagram followers.
“I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos.”
Swift backed the Biden-Harris presidential campaign in 2020.
