WASHINGTON (NEXSTAR) – Former president Donald Trump used a visit to California to hit Vice President Kamala Harris on her record as attorney general of the state.
Meanwhile, President Joe Biden came after Trump for comments on the debate stage about Haitian migrants.
“There’s no place in America. It has to stop. What he’s doing. It has to stop,” said Biden.
The mayor of Springfield, Ohio says officials haven’t seen any credible evidence.
Trump continued talking about Haitian migrants at a press conference on Friday but didn’t repeat the claim about pets.
“In Springfield Ohio 20,000 illegal Haitian migrants have descended upon a town of 58,000 people destroying their way of life,” said Trump.
In Harris’ home state of California, Trump continued attacking Biden and Harris on immigration.
“Kamala will turn America into a poor violent third world refugee camp. It already sort of is,” said Trump.
While Trump is in California, Governor Tim Walz and Vice President Harris stormed key states. Walz was in Michigan.
“They’re incredibly dangerous to dehumanize other people,” said Walz.
Harris was in Pennsylvania. On Thursday this was her message to a crowd in North Carolina.
“Donald Trump is not fit to be President of the United States,” said Harris.
The Harris campaign says they’re trying to capitalize on Tuesday night’s debate. Harris has stops in Johnstown and Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, both places Trump won.
Former president Trump has an event planned in Las Vegas, Nevada.
