COPS have tragically discovered a body during a search for a missing 34-year-old woman.
Officers found the body on Saturday while urgently looking for Rebecca Lyes who went missing from Worcester on 5 October.
West Mercia Police said that formal identification had not yet taken place, but the woman’s family had been informed.
However, the death was not being treated as suspicious, the force added.
West Mercia Police had urgently appealed for witnesses after Rebecca was last seen on CCTV on London Road, Worcester, at around 1.15am on October 5.
Rebecca was described by cops as a white woman, of slim build, around 5ft 6 with shoulder length dark hair.
Cops also said she had a distinctive tattoo of a human heart on the inside of her arm.
Rebecca may be travelling with a black suitcase and a white backpack, said police at the time.
The force also said earlier this month that Rebecca likes to visit Malvern and his links to Stratford-upon-Avon.
Inspector Ben Albutt previously said: “Rebecca’s family and police are growing increasing concerned for her welfare.
“We would urge anyone who thinks they may have seen her to get in touch.”
