During the ceremony, the Gone Girl actress explained, per WSJ, ‘I love Jonathan, and I just saw this dress when it went down the runway and was like, “I want to wear that.”‘
While walking the red carpet at the event, the mother-of-one also slipped into a pair of open-toed, black heels to coincide with the color scheme of the look.
The star’s brunette locks were parted in the middle, and effortlessly flowed down in light waves past her shoulders.
Emily opted for minimal accessories to allow the outfit to be the main focal point, and added a few flashy rings on her right hand as well as small, silver glittering earrings.
The model’s makeup was glammed up for the night, and comprised of a layer of mascara to her lashes as well as a light shadow around her eyes.
A warm blush was added to better accentuate her cheekbones, while a nude-colored, satin tint was worn on her lips.
While talking to Nylon earlier this year in February, Emily opened up about her own ‘beauty philosophy.’
‘For so long beauty and fashion were so intimidating for me, and it felt stressful getting ready.’

She added, ‘The trick for me has been figuring out what works for me and what makes me feel good.’
‘I take a second whenever I’m getting ready to ask, “What kind of woman do I want to feel like tonight?” It all should be fun and an expression of who you are. And I think it’s so important to figure out what works for you and stick to that.’
Ratajkowski struck a variety of poses upon arriving to the venue on Tuesday, and joined other celebrities at the ceremony, including Ariana Grande.
The WSJ Magazine’s Innovator Awards ‘recognize groundbreaking talents from a range of disciplines, including fashion, art, literature, entertainment, architecture, design, technology, music, philanthropy, cuisine and more,’ per the official website.
The event is also described as ‘a gathering of ambitious, forward-looking minds whose originality has led to meaningful change and offers inspiration to others.’
Along with Charli XCX, others that were honored included fashion designer Marc Jacobs, Tim Cook as well as Jon M. Chu.

Emily has been keeping busy and put on a stylish display while stopping by the H&M & New York Brings Fashion and Music to Mercer Street event in NYC earlier this month.
She embraced her fall style in a long-sleeved, gray knit dress that clung to her frame and fell down towards her ankles.
The former Nickelodeon star completed the look by slipping into a pair of black, heeled boots.
