Authorities are searching for answers after a teenager was shot and killed in the Los Angeles County community of Willowbrook around midnight on Friday.
The incident, according to the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department, occurred just before midnight on the 13100 block of Jarvis Avenue.
The victim was shot an unknown amount of times and transported to a local hospital, where he later died. His identity was not released due to his juvenile status.
No suspect information was immediately made available. The investigation is ongoing, authorities said.
