A TEENAGE boy was stabbed at a train station in broad daylight with four other boys arrested by cops.
A 13-year-old was stabbed at Manchester Piccadilly railway station yesterday at around 12.10pm.
He was rushed to hospital, but his injuries are not being treated as life-threatening or life-changing.
He has since been discharged from hospital after the “shocking” stabbing.
One boy, 13, was later arrested on suspicion of GBH (wounding with intent).
Another three boys – one aged 13 and two aged 12 – were arrested on suspicion of affray.
They have all been released on bail.
Cops are appealing for more witnesses and information.
Detective Inspector Stephen Kite said: “This was a shocking incident that took place in broad daylight in front of a number of horrified onlookers.
“We have spoken to a number of witnesses alongside many other enquiries we’re working on, but we believe there may be other people who saw what happened and have yet to come forward.
“We also believe there were people who had been driving past who may have captured important dash cam footage showing what happened.
“I urge those people to make contact with us as quickly as possible. We will not tolerate violence on the railway network and will do everything we can to bring to justice those responsible.”
Any witnesses or those with information are urged to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, using the reference 254 of 28 October.
