Taylor Swift shakes it off for Tight End University crowd

Taylor Swift supported her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, by putting on a surprise performance at the three-day training summit known as Tight End University.

Swift surprised an intimate crowd at Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville, Tennessee, with a performance of her 2014 hit “Shake It Off.” It’s one of her first public performances since wrapping up her Eras Tour about six months ago.

The performance was for the Tight Ends and Friends benefit concert on Tuesday night. Country singer Kane Brown was set to be the final act, but that was until he informed the audience that he wasn’t.

I’ve got something cool I want to do for you guys,” he told the crowd, according to The Tennessean. “Do y’all care if I bring out a really really really really special guest?”

Moments later Swift appeared with a guitar over her shoulder that she borrowed from singer Chris Rice, who had performed earlier that evening.

“See the one thing tight ends have in common with Nashville musicians is we’re all friends, right? So you know, we’re up there,” she said as she pointed to the VIP section where Kelce, her best friend Anderson Berard, and Berard’s husband Charles were seated.

Tight End University was started five years ago by Kelce and George Kittle, a tight end for the San Francisco 49ers. The three-day camp brings anywhere between 80 to 90 NFL tight ends to Nashville, where they train, study film and more.
