ARLINGTON, Va. (DC News Now) — A swastika was found keyed into a Tesla in Arlington on Friday, Arlington police said.
According to the Arlington County Police Department (ACPD), police were notified that, during the overnight hours of March 21, someone keyed a swastika into the hood of a 2023 Tesla.
At the time, the car was parked in the 1700 block of N. Veitch St. and was unoccupied.
As of Saturday morning, there is no word on any suspects.
The reported vandalism comes less than a week after police said a Tesla was vandalized in Northeast D.C.
Around the country, Tesla showrooms, charging stations, car lots and privately owned cars vehicles have been targeted as Elon Musk, the electric-car company’s CEO, works to reduce the federal workforce and cut government spending as President Donald Trump’s senior adviser for the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
