Police were searching for at least one suspect in connection with a fatal stabbing Sunday night in Hollywood, officials confirmed to KTLA.
Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department responded to the 7100 block of Hawthorn Avenue near the intersection of La Brea Avenue on reports of a victim stabbed with a knife at around 4 p.m.
A crime broadcast, according to police, went out at around 5 p.m.
Details are extremely limited and an investigation into the deadly incident is ongoing, but authorities said the suspect, who remains outstanding, was described as a Hispanic male, approximately 6 foot 1 inches tall and weighing around 200 pounds.
In footage of the scene posted to the Citizen App, police and firefighters can be seen speaking to what appears to be a male sitting on the curb.
It is unclear if that person was the stabbing victim or if they were taken to the hospital.
Authorities did not provide any details about the age, gender or identity of the person killed.
