A suspect was arrested after a man was found shot to death in San Bernardino County.
On June 16, Colton Police responded to a shooting on the 3600 block of Placentia Lane in Colton around 5 a.m.
Arriving officers found the victim, Kristian Gutierrez, 41, of San Bernardino, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The shooter had fled the area before police arrived. Investigators later identified Anthony Anguiano, 54, of Riverside, as the primary suspect.
On June 25, police located Anguiano in the 2700 block of 5th Street in Riverside. He was arrested for murder and booked into the West Valley Detention Center, where he is being held without bail.
Additional details, including a motive or how the suspect and victim were known to each other, were not released.
