A suspect was arrested after a man was found shot to death at a Riverside County home.
On Jan. 4, Riverside County sheriff’s deputies responded to a home on the 32900 block of Josheroo Court in Temecula shortly before 5 a.m.
Inside the residence, deputies found a man who had been fatally shot.
The suspect, Micah Harris, 22, was arrested at the home in connection with the murder. Harris had initially called deputies to report the shooting, authorities said.
It’s unclear what prompted the deadly incident as homicide detectives continue investigating the case. Several other people were inside the home, however, none of them were detained.
Harris was arrested and booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center for murder.
“Due to this being an active investigation, no further information will be released,” deputies said.
The victim’s identity will be withheld pending notification of next-of-kin.
